Job TitleThis position is responsible for overseeing the production of a quality-finished product in an efficient manner while achieving maximum use of supplies, equipment, and our human resources through teamwork, training, and a sense of pride in our achievements. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.What You'll Do:Lead Labeling EffortEnsure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followedCommunicate goals to the crewWork with operators to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems and other production issuesWork to correct any problems that are identified, determine where and why the problem occurred, and oversee specific corrective actionMonitor use of standard operating procedures (SOPs)Manpower CoordinationData AnalysisEmployee TrainingMaintenance Issues and SafetyRequirements for Success:4-year degree in Management or Supervision2-4 years in management/supervisory role in Food Manufacturing environmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent Communication skills – written & verbalIndependent thinking with the ability to make decisions quicklySense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problemsMust display initiative and ingenuityOn the job training regarding Training by HACCP CoordinatorTeamworkSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect: 21-25 OperatorsIndirect: NonePhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsTo perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
