Job description
Cannabis Packaging TechnicianViridian Staffing's client is looking for temporary packaging technicians to help with packaging duties for a cannabis company 20 minutes west of Gardner, Massachusetts, area. These positions are expected to start on or around early-March. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to convert to a permanent position. 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.As a packaging technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You may also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time.If you are the type of individual who is always on time and is excited to come to a fast-paced work environment each day ready to give 100%, then this could be the right opportunity for you. Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older Eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the state of Massachusetts Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Exceptional attention to detail Clear communication skills Ability to sit, stand, kneel and twist up to 8 hours Ability to work in a GMP environment, which includes but is not limited to wearing required PPE Pay rate: $18.50/hour Viridian Enterprises LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
