Packaging TechnicianJob Location: Ward Hill, MAJob Duration: 12+ Months (Possibilities of Extension) Pay is $22/hr on w2Shift: Work shift - (Mon-Fri) (06:00am – 2:30 pm)Job DescriptionThe Repack-Label Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing various tasks related to the repackaging and labeling of products. This role involves working collaboratively with the production team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRepackage products according to specified guidelines and customer requirements.Accurately label products, ensuring all information is correct and legible.Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.Complete required documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math skills for counting and measuring.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move around for long periods.Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.Work EnvironmentThe work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures and smells.
