Pay: Weekly pay $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates Total Rewards: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, & Vision) starting day 30 401(k) Retirement Plan $1000 referral bonus Paid Time off Shifts: Night shift available 12 hours shift: 7pm-7am Working 3-4 days/week. Ensure you have access to a valid email address Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview Post Offer background check, drug screen, and physical assessment requiredJob SummaryResponsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, manually packing, and stacking finished products, and completing sanitation activitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the 5's and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)Visually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxesRecognize and report product quality issuesSet up scales for bag, bulk, and/or tote weightsWeigh one bag per caseUnderstand the information on the lead labelPallet stack as neededPour on reworkFill out all paperwork completely, accurately, and timely (including first case verifications, daily 5S paperwork, changeover/sanitation paperwork, etc.)Cover bulk lines and recognize and report bad productClean and organize the packing area using approved chemicals and PPE as applicablePerform shut down, start up, and changeover proceduresRework product as neededUse pallet jacksMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age at time of hireHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required1-month experience or training in related fieldAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information to other employeesBasic math skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsRequired Skills/AbilitiesAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentFrequently required to stand and walkOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 poundsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by team members assigned to this position.
