Job description
1st Shift Packing & Deburring SpecialistOur client, a leader in high-precision machined parts for aerospace and defense, is looking to add a Packing and Deburring Specialist to their team. This role is responsible for finishing, inspecting, and preparing precision-machined components for shipment. The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM and pay starts at $17+ BOE.Job Responsibilities:Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts using hand tools, grinders, files, and deburring equipmentPerform polishing, sanding, or finishing processes to meet customer specificationsHandle small, precision components with care to maintain tight tolerancesIdentify surface defects or inconsistencies and notify supervisors as neededConduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesEnsure all parts meet quality standards commonly required in aerospace and precision manufacturingCarefully package finished parts to prevent damage during shippingLabel, organize, and stage orders according to customer and company requirementsMaintain accurate documentation for shipments and completed work ordersWork closely with shipping/receiving to ensure timely order fulfillmentJob Qualifications:Must be a US CitizenPrevious experience in deburring, manufacturing, or machine shop environment preferredAbility to use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Basic understanding of blueprints and tolerancesStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetAbility to handle small parts and perform repetitive tasksAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50lbs*This position is dependent on a drug screen and background check.
