Job TitleOperates plant packing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesAssumes responsibility for assisting in meeting plant production requirements as set by client/ownerObservant of operating process equipment's and maintenance needCommunicating with supervision as necessary to ensure maximum performances as outlined by production goalsReads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activitiesMoves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sitesFollows all hazardous waste handling guidelinesCompletes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activitiesResponsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rulesPerforms other duties as requiredMaintenance Project - No Per DiemJob RequirementsWork within precise limits or standards of accuracyPlan work and select proper toolsCompare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objectsVisualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawingsMake decisions based on measurable criteriaWork at heights without fearQualificationsMay require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related areaHas knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobWorks under immediate supervisionPrimary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgmentTypically reports to a supervisor or managerPhysical Requirements1.
