Job description
PackerThe Packer is responsible for inspecting, assembling, packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring compliance with established quality, safety, and production standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient manufacturing operations by identifying product defects, following prescribed packing procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and supporting production activities. The Packer collaborates closely with Operators, Quality personnel, and fellow team members to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and effective shift-to-shift communication.Main Duties:Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all company procedures and regulations.Inspect products for defects and notify Operators and/or Quality personnel of any non-conforming products.Assemble boxes and products as required.Pack products according to established packing configurations and customer specifications.Participate in roll changes and other production support activities.Perform housekeeping and sanitizing duties to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.Communicate production issues, defects, and specific requirements during shift changes.Perform other related duties as assigned.
