About This Role
The PACU RN provides nursing care to a defined group of patients, coordinating and facilitating health care services in collaboration with the health care team. This role is ideal for registered nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and have strong assessment and communication skills.

What You'll Do
Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs.
Assist patients and families in developing health care goals as part of the individualized plan of care.
Provide nursing interventions safely and competently, with ongoing evaluation of patient responses.
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
Assess patient lifestyle risk factors and integrate health promotion into care.
Adhere to documentation, safety, and infection control standards.
Participate in continued education programs and staff orientation activities.
Collaborate in performance reviews and quality assurance activities.
