About The Job
As a PACU RN, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, caring for patients in the post‑anesthesia care unit. Your expertise and compassion will be invaluable in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Care for patients in the post‑anesthesia care unit, providing individualized attention and monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a PACU setting, preferably in a travel nursing capacity.
Excellent clinical skills, including knowledge of anesthesia principles and patient monitoring techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
