Middletown Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Management to join our dynamic team. Work Environment
The position is based onsite at our hospital facility located in Vails Gate, New York, where you will collaborate directly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with chronic pain conditions, utilizing various diagnostic tools.
Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with best-practice standards in pain management.
Implement medication management strategies, monitoring patient responses and adjusting dosages as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Provide patient education, empowering individuals to understand their conditions and treatment options, while promoting adherence to prescribed therapies.
Regularly monitor and follow-up with patients to evaluate progress, adjust treatment protocols, and provide ongoing support throughout their care journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work closely with a diverse patient population dealing with a variety of chronic pain issues, including but not limited to post-surgical pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and sports-related injuries. Our team is dedicated to improving patients' physical, psychological, and social functioning through tailored treatment plans and holistic care approaches.
Qualifications
A valid Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
Active licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in Pain Management or a related specialty.
Experience with interventional pain procedures and familiarity with the latest pain management technologies and modalities is highly desired.
Compensation and Benefits
