Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with experience and interest in palliative andpainmanagement. Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement services in the ALF and SNF settings in the Ridgecrest area.
We are pleased to offer FLEXIBLE DAYS and HOURS
The practitioner will be assigned a specific patientloadfor which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment
Provide palliative andpainmanagement to treat the patient best
Performpainmanagement procedures as needed
Define and document patient diagnoses
Prescribing and refilling medications
Patient and family education and management
Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes
Activelyparticipatesin departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals
Requirements:
Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California
Must have an active DEA license
