Job description
Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants. Position would be roughly 60/40 Anesthesia/Pain.
Opportunity Highlights
Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology. No cardiac or trauma cases.
Pain cases to include epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance. No medication management.
Comprehensive compensation plan to include $545,134 salary, $50,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in retention incentives over five years.
Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Qualifications
Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
Active hospital staff membership
Required Licensure/Certifications
Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
