Job Description

Pain Management Physician Assistant

Groth Pain & Spine — Long Island, NY

Join Long Island's Premier Pain Management Practice

Groth Pain & Spine is a rapidly growing, multidisciplinary pain management practice seeking a skilled and energetic Physician Assistant to join our expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside board-certified Pain Management Physicians and a collaborative team of NPs, PAs, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers — all under one roof, all focused on delivering exceptional, whole-patient care.

We are proud to offer a culture built on mentorship, professional growth, and clinical excellence. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply — we invest heavily in training, including hands-on instruction with advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, and we support your continued education through dedicated CME funding.

What You'll Do

As a Physician Assistant at Groth Pain & Spine, you'll manage a diverse caseload of patients experiencing acute, chronic, and post-surgical pain. Your day-to-day will include:

* Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic pain conditions

* Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing individualized treatment plans

* Administering procedures such as trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections

* Prescribing medications and coordinating multimodal treatment approaches, including physical and occupational therapy, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive interventions

* Facilitating referrals and coordinating care with collaborating physicians and specialists

* Building lasting, trust-based relationships with patients throughout their care journey

What We're Looking For

* Current PA licensure in New York State

* A compassionate, patient-first mindset paired with the drive to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting

* Confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Natural leadership qualities and sound clinical judgment

* Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right candidate

Why Join Groth Pain & Spine

* Competitive compensation with performance bonuses

* Full health insurance coverage

* Matched 401(k)

* Generous PTO and paid holidays

* CME funding and hands-on training on state-of-the-art ultrasound technology

* A genuine culture of mentorship, collaboration, and career growth

Please note: this position requires travel between multiple practice locations.
