Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Marshall, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys procedural medicine and wants to focus on patient care in a Monday Friday outpatient setting with an excellent work-life balance .
The physician will evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain while utilizing minimally invasive, evidence-based procedures designed to reduce pain, improve function, and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
Develop individualized, multimodal treatment plans.
Perform interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and other appropriate procedures.
Review diagnostic imaging and testing to guide treatment.
Provide ongoing follow-up and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
Educate patients regarding treatment options and long-term pain management.
Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, physical therapists, and other providers.
Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
MD or DO with appropriate residency and fellowship training.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, PM&R, or an appropriate specialty.
Current, unrestricted state medical license.
Strong procedural skills and clinical judgment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for providing personalized, patient-centered care.
