Mayday Manufacturing Job OpportunityMayday Manufacturing is a leading Aerospace machining and metal finishing company in Denton, Texas that provides a dynamic work environment with cutting-edge technology. Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 2nd shift assistants, to join our team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Learning practical painting processes and proceduresRead and understand traveler instructions and special notesPart prepping, including cleaning and racking of partsIdentify racking or boarding method per part configuration; this will include various sizes, lengths, shapes, and weightsLearn to board parts appropriately so parts do not move while being paintedFlip parts that have been boarded for paintersReactivate primer by scuffing/sanding methodIdentify applicable grade of sanding paper and or scotch bright for partsMask parts as requiredCount and record number of pieces being racked or boardedBecome familiar with how to operate ovensFill out paperwork correctly for work doneGeneral housekeeping, including changing oven filters & organizing paint stock roomAdheres to company policies, quality procedures and safety standardsGain basic knowledge and use of inspection tools (i.e., micrometers, dual scope)To meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start timeRequired Education and Experience:NonePreferred Education and Experience:High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Additional eligibility qualifications:Must have an acceptable criminal history background checkMust pass a drug testPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:Full time2nd Shift – 3:00PM- 11:00pm (Monday thru Friday)Some overtime may be requiredMay be asked to work weekends with little or no noticeOur comprehensive benefits package includes:Full medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and short-term disability insurance coveragePaid vacation and personal days401(k) retirement plan with company matchEmployee stock purchase programAnnual profit-sharing bonusTuition reimbursement to support your educational goalsNo travel required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
