We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Employee Type: Full Time, HourlyReports To: Processing ManagerJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAShift Hours: 1st Shift; 6:00am - 2:30pmPay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00, dependent upon relative experienceExperience: 2+ year manufacturing environment preferredJob Duties:Apply paper/tape masking to production parts prior to chemical or forming processPrepare parts for prime and paint operations by solvent cleaning, sanding, and tapingPerform removal of tape residue during the paint prep operations as necessaryMask and de-mask parts as requiredComplete work flow documentation thoroughly and properlyInspection: Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being maskedKeep work area clean and organized; following Clean-as-you-go procedures.Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all timesKeep work area cleanAssist other departments as necessaryRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust be 18 years of agePrevious experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferredDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsMust be self-motivated and produce quality workExcellent attendance and positive attitude is requiredMust be able to thoroughly follow instructions and be attentive to detailsTeam player attitudeWorking Conditions:Some overtime may be requiredAbility to regularly and frequently lift 25 poundsWill be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
