Paint Operator / Aircraft PainterSchedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PMWe are seeking an experienced Paint Operator / Aircraft Painter to join our team on 1st shift. This position requires experience using HVLP spray equipment, airless spray guns, and professional spray-painting techniques. The ideal candidate will have painting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, or aircraft environment and possess basic mechanical skills.The Paint Operator will apply paint and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using spray equipment and brushes while ensuring quality finishes and adherence to established paint processes.Key ResponsibilitiesApply paint and coatings using HVLP spray guns, airless spray equipment, and brushesProfessionally finish interior and exterior surfaces according to specificationsMeasure areas to be painted and determine the appropriate quantity and type of paint requiredIdentify and select proper paint colors and finishesPrepare surfaces for painting through various methods, including: Chemical strippingGrit blastingOther approved surface preparation methodsFollow established aircraft paint processes and proceduresMaintain quality standards and safe work practicesUtilize basic mechanical skills to support painting operationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentSome painting experienceBasic mechanical skillsBasic spray-painting skillsExperience using HVLP and airless spray equipment5 years of aircraft painting experience (preferred)Physical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periodsUse hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and materialsReach with hands and armsOccasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
