Paint Prep TechnicianAs part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Davis Paint & Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paint Prep Technician.Position Duties:Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and statusPerforms quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mindAbility to spray is a plusPerforming work as outlined on repair ordersPerforming prep, sanding, wiping, bagging, buffing as needed by the paint shopOperating all equipment in the collision center in a safe and productive mannerFollowing Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while workingInspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completedMixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specificationsWhy Work With Us?Team-oriented cultureI-CAR Gold CertifiedOEM CertifiedStreamlined workflow for increased earning potentialOpportunities for professional growth and certificationCompetitive compensation and benefits (discussed upon interview)Commitment to safety, quality, and a positive work environmentRequirements:Valid Driver's LicenseI-CAR Certification in body repair preferred knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)I-CAR / Paint Line certified a plus1 Year Collision paint prep experience a plusGenuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude, strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Safe working knowledge of paint tools and equipmentOpenRoad is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
