Painters And Paint Prep TechnicianOur client, a leading organization in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to join their team. As a Paint Prep Technician, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully within the organization.Location: Shippensburg, PAPay Range: $18, after 90 days $20/hrShift: Start times at 5:15am or 5:30am, ending at 1:45pm or 2:00pm, Monday through FridayWhat's the Job?Perform surface and part preparation to meet paint quality and engineering standardsOperate pressure washers or steam cleaners to remove contamination and expedite dryingUse masking materials to protect sensitive surfaces from blasting or paintSand, grind, and apply fillers to repair cosmetic defectsSet up and operate spray equipment, including electronic paint proportioning systemsWhat's Needed?Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial assembly or related fieldAbility to operate hand tools, air tools, and mechanical assembly equipmentKnowledge of safety procedures and proper PPE usageStrong attention to detail and quality standardsWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work with a reputable organization in the industrial sectorConsistent work schedule Monday through FridaySupportive team environment focused on safety and qualityPotential for career growth within the organizationComprehensive safety training and equipment providedUpon completion of waiting period, associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
