Our team of experts focuses on technology, innovation, and the highest level of design possible, resulting in high-quality, value-driven brand identification products that are delivered on time, customized to client specs, and true to a brand's integrity.Position Summary (major areas of contribution): The Paint Sprayer is responsible for applying metal paints and coatings to metal and plastic products. A Paint Sprayer also prepares materials for use, maintains painting equipment, applies materials and ensures the quality of end products.Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:Apply paints to metal and plastic products in compliance with established procedures and in compliance with safety policy.Ensure metal products are prepared to receive paints, i.e. no rust, sanded, smoothed, etc.Accurately interpret work orders and other documents to determine appropriate paints for applications.Inspect work when completed to ensure thoroughness and quality work.Prepare materials for use by mixing thinners and paints.Properly clean and maintain all painting equipment.Maintain records of paint and material usage.Minimum Qualifications / Skills:Knowledge of paint application techniques.Ability to safely operate spray guns, cleaning equipment and paint booths.Results drivenStrong Communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsAttention to detailTime ManagementAbility to read mechanical drawingsAbility to handle multiple projects under tight deadlinesExperience (type and amount of experience required): High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior experience in manufacturing preferred. Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. Prior work experience painting.Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will go prolong periods standing or walking in assigned area, is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
