Job description
Paint TechnicianAs part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Davis Paint & Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. We are looking for a skilled Paint Technician to work on vehicles in a fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Paint Technician, you'll perform vehicle refinishing as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.Position Duties:Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and statusPerforms quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mindPerforming work as outlined on repair ordersOperating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive mannerFollowing Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, respirator) while working in the paint departmentInspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completedMixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specificationsRequirements:I-CAR Certification preferred (will help obtain if you do not)Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)Must be able to operate a vehicle legallyGenuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experienceFriendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitudeStrong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentSafe working knowledge of shop tools and equipmentOpenRoad is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
