Job description
Painter 1st ShiftUp to $24/hr. This position reports to the Production Supervisor - Fabrication.ResponsibilitiesPaints manufactured products including lighting products and custom vehicle accessoriesSets-up and maintains paint line equipmentReads work orders, follows production drawings, sample assemblies or verbal orders to paint productsReceives verbal instruction on priority of ordersSets up daily work according to paint production schedule, priority, or verbal instructionsChecks parts for inventory countsChecks and prepares part surfaces before paintingHangs parts for optimal use of paint booth spaceWatches material in process on paint line to monitor paint flow to assure coating and color conform to specificationsPulls and stacks painted parts and puts parts into inventory at specified locationsChecks and cleans machinery and surfacesSubstitutes in assembly department when Paintline is not operationalNo supervisory responsibility, support co-workers in non-routine applicationsModerate interaction with supervisors and co-workersAssists with special projects as assigned by supervisorRequirementsAbility to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and DrawingsAble to Perform Basic Mathematical ComputationsAble to Apply Common Sense Reasoning to Carry Out InstructionsMust be able to Stand for Long PeriodsAbility to Work in a TeamMust have High School Diploma and GEDEmployee must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50 lbsAble to occasionally move up to 100 lbsMust be able to tolerate long periods of standingWork Environment – Manufacturing: Chemicals, Machinery, Dust, Paint, NoiseProtective clothing and equipment requiredCompany DetailsHavis is at the forefront of revolutionizing industries by unlocking the full potential of technology to drive productivity and enhance safety through innovative mobility solutions.
