Job description
Industrial PainterWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Industrial Painter to prepare and apply coatings to a variety of surfaces and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This role plays a key part in protecting materials from corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure while ensuring a high-quality finish.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking as neededMix and apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, rollers, or brushesOperate and maintain painting equipment, including spray systems and compressorsInspect finished surfaces to ensure quality standards and proper coating thicknessFollow work orders, blueprints, and specifications for proper application techniquesPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipmentAdhere to all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of PPEMaintain a clean and organized work environmentWork collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or a related fieldKnowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applicationsFamiliarity with spray painting equipment and toolsAbility to read and interpret basic work instructions and specificationsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in environments with fumes, noise, and varying temperatures (with proper PPE)Ability to wear respirators and other protective equipment as requiredSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time position; overtime may be required based on production needsIndustrial/manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
