Job description
PainterAmerican Fan has an opportunity for a Painter, based in our Fairfield, OH facility. The painter will work with the rest of the team to ensure that the product is driven to successful completion.Reports To: Assembly + Paint LeadSummaryInspect items before, during, and after painting to ensure quality.Cover areas where paint is not needed using tape, wrap, or other materials.Follow instructions to mix paints, select tools, and prepare materials for the job.Check paint thickness and uniformity before final coating or curing.Use spray painting equipment to apply an even, high-quality finish, and touch up as needed.Clean tools, equipment, and the workspace after painting.Safely move items to and from the work area using appropriate tools or equipment.Track work progress and follow all EPA standards and guidelines.Uphold FMD's core values of integrity, velocity, and teamwork in all tasks.Be open to cross-training and assist with other duties as requested by the manager.Qualifications and Educational Requirements2+ years' experience preferred.Ability to read manufacturing drawings.Experience working with MIL-Specs (military specifications).US CitizenValid Driver's LicensePreferred High School Diploma or GEDNote: This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
