Job description
Painter / AssemblerWe are looking for a painter / assembler. The primary responsibility of the selected applicant will to clean, prime and painting the metal fabrications we manufacture using rollers, brushes and similar equipment. This person will also assist in mechanical assembly of the equipment we manufacture and should be comfortable working with hand and power tools. Applicants should be comfortable using a manlift and ladder to work at heights up to 15'. Applicants must also be able or willing to learn the operation of cranes and forklifts.Responsibilities:Comfortable working with power tools and equipmentAbility to lift up to 50lbsComfort working with chemicals, primer and paint.Desire for cross training to learn multiple skill setsComputer competentStrong problem solverAbility to carefully read, review and follow detailed written instructionsQualifications:Ability to learn or read drawings / manufacturing printsUnderstanding of hand and power toolsMechanical AssemblyAt least 18 years of age or olderAvailability Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pmOther Skills and Abilities:Excellent AttendanceExcellent Work Ethic and AttitudeCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
