Painter AssistantJenkins Collision Center of Ocala is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Auto Painters in preparing and painting vehicles to our high standards of quality. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, located in Ocala, Florida. At Jenkins Auto Group, we believe in promoting growth and upholding our forward trajectory through great people, high standards, and best practices, recognizing that our team is integral to our success.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wageHealth and dental insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts on services and productsResponsibilities:Assist Auto Painters in all aspects of vehicle painting process, including sanding, priming, and final coatingPrepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, masking, and taping off areas that do not require paintMix and match paint colors according to specificationsApply paint to vehicles using various techniques, such as sprayers, brushes, and rollersAssure that painted vehicles are of high quality and free of imperfectionsClean and maintain painting equipment and toolsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projectsAssist with other duties as needed by the teamRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in auto painting is a plus, but not requiredFamiliarity with painting tools and equipmentAbility to mix and match paint colorsExcellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWillingness to learn and take direction from more experienced team membersPhysical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periodsMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordEEOC Statement: Jenkins Collision Center of Ocala is an equal opportunity employer.
