Painter / BlasterJoin a small, hands-on Paint/Blast team responsible for preparing, blasting, painting, and powder coating metal components used in automated warehousing equipment. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills.Pay: $30/hrSchedule2nd ShiftMonday-Thursday4:00 PM - 2:30 AMTwo paid 15-minute breaksOne unpaid 30-minute meal breakTraining Schedule (1-2 Weeks)Monday-Thursday6:00 AM - 4:30 PMWhat You'll DoLoad and unload metal parts using manual methods and a sit-down forkliftOperate blasting equipment using 50-grit blast mediaPrepare, hang, and rack parts for paint and powder coat processesPaint and powder coat products to quality standardsMove materials throughout the shop using a forkliftInspect finished parts for quality and accuracySupport multiple phases of the paint and blast process as neededRequirementsExperience operating a sit-down forkliftStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift and move materials of varying sizes and weightsWillingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areasAbility to work safely while wearing protective equipmentPreferred ExperienceSandblastingIndustrial paintingPowder coatingManufacturing or production environmentsNo direct paint or blast experience? Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
