Job description
We are seeking highly--productive Painters to join our team! You will perform all aspects of residential painting with a focus on managing your jobsite, your crew and the customer.
Responsibilities:
Executing all the daily painting activities from the start to the finish of each project including:
Painting the interior/exterior surfaces of residential/commercial properties using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
Removing old paint to prepare surfaces prior to painting.
Applying protective coverings, such as drop cloths or masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes.
Filling cracks or breaks in surfaces of wood/compound/plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds.
Pressure washing on all exterior surfaces.
Cleaning work areas and equipment.
Need to be able to work extensively on ladders.
Communicating with your Crew Leader
Maintaining high customer service standards with A's on Report Cards and positive testimonials
Maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications: Previous experience in residential painting (3+ years recommended)
Ability to prioritize and focus on your current task
Excellent preparation and painting skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in all aspects of painting and pressure washing
Carpentry experience preferred but not required
Hours & Compensation
Monday-Saturday 7am-3:30pm (Jobsites throughout Connecticut) $18.5/hour
