Painter - FacilitiesAs a CBRE Painter - Facilities, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and professional image of a commercial facility through high-quality painting, surface preparation, and finishing work. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and is responsible for delivering exceptional interior and exterior painting services while supporting the overall upkeep of the property. This is an onsite position located in Torrance, CA, working first shift, Monday through Friday. The primary focus of this role is commercial painting, including surface preparation, patching, drywall repair, coating application, touch-ups, and maintaining painted finishes throughout the facility. You will work on a variety of interior and exterior projects to ensure the building remains clean, professional, and visually appealing. In addition to painting responsibilities, you will assist with general facility maintenance tasks that support safe, efficient, and reliable building operations. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial or industrial painting environments, strong attention to detail, knowledge of painting tools, materials, and coatings, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship in a professional setting.What You'll Do:Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Work with available systems to manage and track completion.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Report violations to Management.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.What You'll Need:High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The minimum salary for the position is $30.00 and the maximum salary for the position is $33.00 per hour.
