PainterGrand Island, NE 68803Job Number: Pay Rate: $21.00Job DescriptionDemonstrated knowledge of paint equipment and processes—including paint guns, spray application and booth equipment, electrostatic and powder coating, enamel applications, viscosity/thickness control, paint flow/pressure systems, and proper setup/breakdown—while producing consistent, full-coverage finishes free of blemishes, runs, and sags and maintaining proper film build. Perform coating repairs and touch-up work using accepted hand tools and techniques, including applying top coats on parts still in the wet stage without flaws, and determine the appropriate rework method and level needed to meet quality standards. Mask and protect non-painted areas using tape/paper or other materials and remove masking after painting, monitor delivery-system pressure and common clog points, and replace wearable parts as directed. Maintain accurate records, promptly report faulty equipment/materials or unusual conditions to supervision, meet or exceed production metrics, keep the booth/work area and equipment clean and orderly, and follow all safety and quality procedures.
