Industrial PainterWe're looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success – and their own. This is a night shift position.What You Will Experience In This Position:Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primersMix and match paint colors to achieve desired shadesApply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or spray gunsEnsure quality control by inspecting finished work for imperfectionsMaintain painting equipment and tools in good working conditionAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines while workingYou Have:2-3 years of experience in industrial painting or a related fieldFamiliarity with warehouse operationsProficiency with hand tools and power toolsMechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenanceKnowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plusExperience with auto body repair techniques is beneficialAbility to operate a forklift for material handling tasksSkill in assembling components after painting processesFamiliarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate workBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsWe Have:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayAt nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
