Painter ILocation: Tulsa, OK, US, 74107 Business Unit: Maintenance & Repair North AmericaAre you someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working with your hands? Join our team as a Painter I and help restore and enhance critical aircraft components that keep aviation moving safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll learn and apply specialized aerospace finishing techniques while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Whether you have experience in automotive painting, industrial coatings, manufacturing, or are looking to grow your skills in aerospace, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do:Preparing parts for painting through cleaning, sanding, stripping, masking, and surface preparationApplying primers, paints, and specialty coatings using spray equipment and other approved methodsFollowing technical specifications, work instructions, and engineering drawingsMixing paints and coating materials according to manufacturer requirementsInspecting finished surfaces to ensure exceptional appearance and qualityPerforming touch-ups and rework as neededMaintaining paint equipment, spray booths, and work areasFollowing all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsCompleting production and quality documentation accuratelySupporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with teammates across departmentsOther duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to follow detailed instructions and specificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in painting, industrial coatings, manufacturing, automotive refinishing, or aerospace environmentsExperience operating spray paint equipmentVocational training in painting, coatings, automotive refinishing, or a related fieldFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or quality-focused production environmentsWhy You'll Love Working Here:Opportunity to build a rewarding career in the aerospace industryHands-on training and skill developmentWork on products that support the aviation industry worldwideCollaborative and safety-focused team environmentStable, growing company with advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay and comprehensive benefits packagePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workdayAbility to wear respirators, protective clothing, and required PPEAbility to work in paint booths and manufacturing environments with exposure to coatings, chemicals, and varying temperaturesWork Environment:This position is based in a manufacturing and aerospace repair environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are essential.
