What You Will Do:

Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements

Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control.

Follow standard operating procedures and specifications

Mix paint to specified viscosity

Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment

Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary

Mask and prep parts for paint as required

Cure parts after topcoat application

Operate Chart recorders

Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer: Experience spraying with paint guns

Experience with applying coatings to metal in paint booths

Experience with prepping (taping, applying plastic covers, filling in holes etc.)

Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email

Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.

Ability to interpret blueprints

The salary range for this role is $38,841 - $72,849. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
