Job Title: Painter II
FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Department: Operations
Supervisor: Production Supervisor
Shift: 3rd
What we are looking for:
Paint is responsible for prepping, cleaning, and checking the quality of parts before and after parts travel through the paint line.
What you'll be responsible for:
Prep parts for powder coating or wet painting by cleaning with lacquer thinner and rags
Hang prepped parts on the paint line
Apply powder coat to bare metal
Removed painted parts from the paint line and match parts with the correct documentation
Identify poor quality parts
Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
Work at different workstations as production needs require
Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual's product line or work cell
Perform other duties as assigned

Occasionally - Pushing/Pulling, Keyboarding, Pinching, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs

Constantly - Standing and Lift/Carry up to 10lbs
*Occasionally - Occurs up to 1/3 of the time
*Frequently - Occurs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
*Constantly - Occurs 2/3 or more of the time
