Painter IICreighton University is seeking a skilled Painter II who takes pride in high-end finish work and delivering exceptional results.What You'll Do:Own projects from prep to final coat across interior and exterior spacesDeliver high-quality finishes using sprayers, sanders, and specialty techniquesRepair and prep surfaces (drywall, wallpaper, caulking, patching, sanding)Consult with campus partners to plan finishes, timelines, and project detailsMix and match coatings to achieve precise color and finish standardsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe worksiteSupport other trades and coordinate with contractors as neededWhat You Bring:3+ years of commercial painting experienceStrong knowledge of coatings for various surfaces (including weather-exposed metals)Ability to read plans, estimate materials, and manage projects independentlySkilled in surface prep, specialty finishes, and detail workCommitment to craftsmanship, safety, and customer servicePhysical Requirements:Work at heights (ladders/scaffolding up to 20+ ft)Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, climbing)Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid U.S. driver's license (2+ years)Why Creighton:Stable, full-time work, an attractive benefit plan with paid time off, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a visible impact across a respected university campus.
