Painter/Maintenance TechnicianWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Painter/Maintenance Technician for Real Property Management-Richmond Metro. We encourage working during normal business hours but respect each employee's personal time off the clock while encouraging plenty of company wide functions to build team moral!Benefits401(k) matching, company car, bonus based on performance, competitive salary, dental insurance, free uniforms, health insurance, vision insurance, career advancement opportunities, 2 weeks paid vacation after 6 months of employment and increases with years of service, 50% health care paid for after 6 months of employment, 401K with 2.5% contribution match by RPM, top quality work truck/van provided (2017 or newer), company card for gas and supplies, company uniform provided.ResponsibilitiesPaint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques, interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed, identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects, prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary, mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties, use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks, inspect paint jobs for quality, perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment, tub reglazing.QualificationsPrevious experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair, valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of equipment.Compensation: $50,000.00 - $59,800.00 per yearReal Property Management® is the leading property management franchise system with over 300 offices in North America, managing tens of thousands residential homes.
