If you're looking for a job that leaves you feeling fulfilled and valued, then look no further than Val-Matic Valve.SummaryOperates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes to metal products.ResponsibilitiesRequires training in the operation of paint and blasting processes and the mixing of various paints & provides paint back up when needed.Reads job information and locates correct tools and materials.Moves parts into the proper location to prepare the parts for paint.Cleans parts with wire brush & solvent.Applies masking tape & rubber plugs to the areas that are not to be painted.Helps the painter using hooks, eyebolts & the crane to move the parts into &out of the paint booth.Inspects the parts to ensure they meet our quality specifications.Places parts on a rack or skid to dry &moved to the next operation.Handles physical disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with company policiesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety trainingMust be able to understand verbal and written instructionsTroubleshoot problems and report issuesMust work well in team environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to lift up to 50lbsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
