PainterAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Painter to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesInstall soft flooring systems, including LVT, VCT, and carpetPerform subsurface preparation for floors, walls, and ceilings prior to final finishesPerform painting work (brush and roller) at the journeyman levelInstall ceiling systems, including acoustic and hard-lid ceilings with grid modificationsSupport general project tasks (materials handling, site control) up to 25% of total effortQualificationsMust be a U.S. citizen to apply for this jobExperience consistent with Davis-Bacon classification PAIN (Painter)Ability to work independently under VA project directionEnglish communication skills sufficient for daily coordination and customer interactionCompletion of VA orientation, safety, and required training coursesBackground check and VA badge requiredPosition Pays:$30.71 - $36.26/hrAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
