We build what's next.Job Summary And Job FunctionsApplying paint and other coatings manually and with spray applicatorsSpraying multiple types of finishes, paints, and coatings to various materialsSanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishingUnderstanding specifications of the project and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and following written instructionsInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyWorking with glues and bonding materialsCutting and assembling materials to specificationsUsing power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare materials for assemblyFollows all safety standards and proceduresKeeping shop and work area clean and organizedWorks with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising qualityAlign with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People UpOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to be exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.RequirementsExperience in commercial, residential or auto body repair and finish work preferred but not requiredExperience with PPG or Matthews paint mixing systems strongly consideredFamiliarity with a variety of paint finish techniques on diverse substratesAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawingsComputer savvy with basic understanding of computer programmingMechanical aptitude and good math skillsA keen eye for color detail and results-driven approachOutstanding written, email and oral communicationAlign with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People UpPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentHeavy work.
