Job description
Pallet & Crate BuilderWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pallet & Crate Builder to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing pallets and custom crates used to package and ship our products safely to customers. You'll play a key role in making sure every order leaves our facility secure, protected, and ready for delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, assemble, and repair wooden pallets and crates to specified dimensions and quality standardsRead and follow work orders, packaging specs, and build instructionsOperate power tools including nail guns, saws, and drills safely and efficientlyUse hand tools such as hammers, staple guns, and measuring tapeOperate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished unitsInspect completed pallets and crates for structural integrity before useMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCommunicate with shipping and production teams to meet daily output goalsFollow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirementsQualificationsPrior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or carpentry/woodworking environment preferredComfortable using power tools, hand tools, and material handling equipmentForklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Ability to read basic work orders and measurementsStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable, punctual, and a team playerAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with ease of movement in a fast-paced environment.Engage in repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push, and pull without difficulties.Stand on feet during work shift and effectively communicate issues.
