Job description
Pallet DismantlerLocation: Dover, PAPay: $11.00/hr starting out and a weekly attendance bonus.Primary Responsibilities:Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets.As the pusher, push pallets through the machine; as the puller, pull dismantled pallets through the machine.Change broken or loose blades to ensure continuous operation.Unjam pallets or boards stuck in the machine, maintaining minimal downtime.Quality Control & Prep:Ensure pallets are free of debris before dismantling.Dismantle pallets in a manner that minimizes damage and cut marks to the materials.Properly prepare dismantled parts by removing protruding nails, screws, and other materials that could affect further processing.Send quality recycled parts to the lumber sorter for further processing.Job Requirements:Must be 18 years or olderAble to lift up to 50 lbsAble to stand for the full shiftAbility to read a tape measure is required.Works well with othersSelf-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical jobReliable and shows up to work on timeWhy This Job:On-the-job training providedOpportunity to grow within the companyTeam-focused work environmentSchedule:Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PMFriday: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PMOccasional voluntary overtimeApply Today!
