Job Summary
We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for producing the daily items for retail as well as wholesale customers. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities
Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
Bake a variety of breads, cakes, fillings, and pastries, following recipes and specs
Prepare custom orders
Qualifications
Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred. Please ensure that your previous experience is evident in your resume or work history.
Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Team player
Available for overnight shift. Shift starts at midnight and ends around 8 am.
