Assembly & Wiring: Mount components (PLCs, HMIs, breakers, terminals) in enclosures and connect them point-to-point according to electrical drawings and schematics.
Schematic Interpretation: Read and understand complex electrical prints, diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform functional tests on completed panels and diagnose/fix wiring errors or operational issues.
Layout & Installation: Measure, cut, and install mounting rails, ducts, and components within panels for optimal layout.
Safety & Quality: Adhere to electrical codes (like UL standards) and company safety procedures, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional finish.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in panel building/wiring.
Electrical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand/power tools and drilling/tapping.
Good communication and teamwork.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
