Job description
Expanding personal injury law firm is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to join their Nassau County or Suffolk County, New York office.
The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with:
10+ years of New York plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
NYSCEF experience, required
Microsoft Office Suite and case management software proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Support personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
Draft and eFile documents including summonses and complaints, BoPs, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, etc.
Monitor and calendar litigation deadlines
Assist with deposition and trial preparation
Correspond with clients, doctors, insurance companies and opposing counsel
Maintain case files
Assist with additional tasks, as needed
Additional information:
Salary: $70K - $90K (non-exempt) commensurate with experience
Healthcare, PTO and 401K benefits
Full-time in office
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility for overtime as needed
