Job description
Paramedic/FirefighterDelta Township is currently accepting applications for full-time paramedic/firefighters. The position of paramedic/fire-fighter with Delta Township is under the supervision of the shift captain, serving when on-duty for assigned shifts or call responses. All rules mandated by the Michigan Department of Health, the Tri-County Emergency Medical Control Authority protocols and the fire department Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines must be observed. Responds to all emergency medical and fire calls as assigned.Qualifications:• Must possess High School Diploma or GED• Be at least 18 years old• Possess a valid driver's license• Candidates must have knowledge and ability to operate all emergency medical and fire equipment.• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan paramedic license• Must have completed State of Michigan Firefighter I and II and Operational Level Hazmat certification• Must successfully complete required written and practical testing to be considered for an interview.All licenses and certificates must be submitted with application.
