Responsibilities
* Assist the teacher in group instruction prescribed by the teacher, provide individual instruction, and demonstrate various instructional activities
* Correct students' work while in progress, keep students on task and report student progress to the teacher
* Prepare visual aids and duplicate materials, organize materials at the end of each day, distribute and collect instructional materials
* Serve as a proctor during testing, assist in grading student's papers as instructed by the teacher
* File data according to regulatory requirements
* Supervise students in the classroom and other locations
* Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations related to services
* Submit reports as required
* Maintain neat, accurate, current, and complete records and reports in a standardized company format
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
* At least 60 college credits hours in any subject (required)
* Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
* Experience working in a classroom setting (preferred)
Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
