Part-Time Accounting Clerk / Accounting Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Accounting Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary, part-time basis. This role will support the Controller with administrative and accounting-related tasks to help manage an increased workload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting clerical experience who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. College students pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or Business degree are encouraged to apply if they have relevant experience. The pay range for the role is $20-$21 per hour.
Responsibilities
Enter and process invoices accurately
Perform high-volume data entry
Organize and maintain invoice documentation and records
Assist with light coding of invoices to appropriate properties/accounts
Support corporate accounting functions and assist with select property accounting tasks
Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned work
Qualifications
1-2 years of accounting clerk, accounting assistant, or administrative accounting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to take direction and learn new processes quickly
Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic
Team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
Proficient with data entry and administrative tasks
Experience with QuickBooks required
