Activity Aide (Part-Time)
Bring Joy. Build Connection. Make a Difference.
Join our Activities Team at Fairmount Homes and help bring joy, purpose, and meaningful connection to the lives of older adults. As an Activity Aide, you'll play a special role in creating engaging experiences that brighten each day for our residents.
Whether it's music, games, conversation, or creative activities, your presence will help foster a sense of community, belonging, and delight.
Activity Aide Schedule & Pay
* Hours: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
* Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
* Additional PRN (as needed) opportunities available
* Pay: $18.60 - $20.10/hour
* Weekend Differential: + $1.25/hour
What You'll Do
* Assist with and lead group and one-on-one activities for residents
* Encourage participation in music, games, crafts, and social events
* Build relationships and provide companionship to residents
* Support a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment
* Help create meaningful moments that enhance quality of life
What We're Looking For in an Activity Aide
* A genuine love for working with older adults
* A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
* Ability to connect with individuals of varying physical and cognitive abilities
* Strong interpersonal skills—kind, respectful, and team-oriented
* Experience with older adults preferred
* High school diploma or GED required
* Valid PA Driver's License preferred
* A commitment to supporting Fairmount's mission and core values
