Part-Time Associate Veterinarian – General Practice
St. Louis Metro, Missouri
$55–$85/hour | Part-Time
Looking for a part-time veterinary role that gives you meaningful clinical work without requiring a full-time schedule?
DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established companion animal practice in the St. Louis metro area. This opportunity offers a broad general practice caseload, an experienced support team, medical autonomy, and a collaborative environment.
The schedule is designed for a veterinarian seeking consistent part-time work while maintaining flexibility outside the hospital.
What You’ll Do
Your caseload may include:
Wellness and preventive medicine
General medical care
Diagnostic workups and case management
Routine surgery
Dentistry
Client education and communication
Collaboration with veterinarians and experienced support staff
You’ll have the autonomy to practice medicine thoughtfully while having a capable team around you.
What They’re Looking For
DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
Active Missouri veterinary license or ability to obtain one
General medicine and surgery proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Approximately one year or more of clinical experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Market-based compensation range: $55–$85/hour , depending on experience, schedule, clinical skill set, and compensation structure.
