Part-Time Backroom Processing Associate – HomeSenseHomeSense is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Part-Time Backroom Processing Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe backroom environment.What You'll DoProcess incoming merchandise efficiently and accuratelyUnpack, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floorEnsure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and codedOrganize and rotate back stock for easy replenishmentMaintain an organized, clean, and efficient backroomFollow established merchandising and processing procedures and standardsMove merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor as neededAssist with maintaining merchandise flow throughout the storeFollow recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste proceduresSupport store shrink-reduction goals and programsFollow all labor laws, company policies, and proceduresMaintain a safe working environment and follow all safety proceduresWork cooperatively with fellow Associates and ManagementProvide and accept recognition and constructive feedbackPerform other duties as assignedWho We're Looking ForAble to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekendsStrong communication and organizational skills with attention to detailCapable of multitasking in a fast-paced environmentAble to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situationsTeam player who works effectively with peers and supervisorsComfortable working in a physically active environmentCapable of lifting and moving merchandise with or without reasonable accommodationDependable, punctual, and willing to learnPrevious retail or backroom experience is preferred, but not required+18 years old requiredSchedulePart-Time | Backroom Processing Monday through SundayMorning Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMEvening Shift: 4:00 PM – 9:30 PMMid-November through Christmas: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PMApplicants should be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holiday periods.Join Our Team!If you're dependable, enjoy working as part of a team, and are looking for a hands-on retail position, we'd love to hear from you!Application StatusPlease do not call the store regarding the status of your application.
